Author's Note: Well, after at least five or more games of solitaire, I gave up. I couldn't win any of them! I spent at least twenty minutes trying! Oh well. Well, anyway, this is the first time that I really have time to type another story. Marching Band Camp is OVER! That was my LAST one, too! Kami, I thought I was going to DIE! I did hurt my wrist, but not enough to stop me from typing (aren't you glad?). Well, after a week of vacation and four 12-hour days of marching band camp, I'm actually ready to go back to school (September 5) and work hard again. I have to warn you about the fall though and my writing...even though I have a lot to do, I going to try to keep up with my fanfics. I promise! I won't have too much time, but I'll try. Well, enough talk! Time to get to my story (actually, it's a poem)! Read, enjoy, and review!

Disclaimer: I may write about them a lot, but I don't own DBZ or its characters.

Battles: Through a Child's Eyes

Cries of agony,
Screams of pain,
Those things I heard,
I did I stay sane?

Pools of blood,
Death all around,
What I, as a child, did see,
Littered on the ground.

The battles I have seen,
All those I have watched suffer,
It is a wonder to me,
How I always remain tougher.

Yet some fights ended with sad conclusions,
With the loss of one whom I did care,
Leaving hurt,
And most of all: despair.

Sometimes I had a chance to fight,
Allowing my anger of loss to let go,
All my hate and fear released,
Bringing forth power that I didn't know.

Before I am pushed over the edge,
I always tried to warn him of the outcome,
But most of the time he wouldn't listen to my pleas,
Until it was too to realize what he has done.

Each battle ended the same,
Because each villain fell,
And because of his mistake,
He is now in Hell.

In each battle fought or witnessed,
In those fights before I was even a teen,
Though only a child,
What things I have seen.

How did you like my first attempt at a real poem? I even got the second and fourth line to rhyme. Please tell me what you thought of this in your reviews. If you liked it, I will try to do more poems. It was hard, but it may well be worth the work. Please review and ja!

Author's Note: If you are confused, "he" is the villain that the Z-Fighters are fighting at the time. It could be any one of the enemies that they were forced to face in battle.
