Those Thoughts
He thought they were forever. He though they had an unbreakable bond. He thought they were soul mates.
He thought they had a thousand more laughs to share, a million more kisses. He thought they had a lifetime to make memories.
Remus thought they had time.
As he stands in the shadows and watches the Aurors pull Sirius away, he realises how wrongs those thoughts were.
Looking at the ring on his hand, he realises the man he thought would be always be his was someone he had never known.
