Picture, if you will, the place where the so-called monsters were sealed away, the place where humans were afraid to

go, the place where no one returned form. Now, picture this impending mountain during a storm; lightning dancing

across the sky, thunder booming and rain pelting down. it was an intimidating sight indeed. And that is where we

meet the vigilante of the story if you will. That is where we meet a sad and lonely girl. That is where we meet you.

keep running, just keep running, before you turn back These thoughts repeated through your mind on an endless cycle;

until you finally saw your salvation. Or your doom. This is it, where all of this will finally end you gripped onto the straps

of your backpack as you stared down into the dark abyss of the hole that appeared before you.

finally, I'm here. No more fear, and no more pain you prepared yourself as you took a tentative step closer to the pit in

front of you. the straps of your backpack, the object that held all of your most prized possessions, were in a death grip

by now, you don't know why you brought it with you but the thought of leaving it just didn't sit right. You steeled

yourself as you realized that this was it, no one would be able to hurt you anymore, and you would just disappear;

you wouldn't be an inconvenience to anyone. you took another step forward, you knew that the liquid on your face

wasn't from the rain, but your own tears. You were now standing on the edge of the pit, the sadness within you grew

tenfold when you thought about the actions leading up to this moment. The painful and terrible memories that you

wanted to forget but couldn't. The memories that made you who you are today. And now you're here, at what would

be the end of all of these memories. You took a deep breath and finally did it.
