Sasuke's First…Dog And Second Family
A/n: Sasuke may seem ooc! Hinata might seem ooc! Very Ooc!

Sasuke thought back to when he was on safety patrol. He had even become a Safety Patrol Supervisor, and he had enjoyed it every minute. His favorite time of day had been the last ten minutes when the final cars came and he got to open them, because he wasn't limited to the fourth car like he normally always was. It also made him feel good, despite his heavy backpack, just to catch the final cars.
Now today, he felt weird and once again thought he was on safety patrol. He was waiting outside for his mom, (for he had quite forgotten that Itachi had killed the clan) and saw a dog in the back of a truck.
He walked over to it and began petting it, when a little girl about his age came out. "You like my dog?" The little girl said.
He nodded, embarrassed. "Well, whom are you waiting for?"
"My mom…"
"What's your name?"
"Sasuke!"
"I meant last name…" She murmured.
"Uchiha.." He replied, proud of his family.
"Oh… Well, don't you remember? I heard once the entire clan was murdered. Do you want to come with me?" She asked. "You can live with my family," The girl, Hinata, said quietly. He nodded happily. Hinata opened the door to see her uncle Hizashi. "Hey, uncle… I found this boy at school. He was waiting for his mom, but he's an Uchiha. Do you think he can come with us?" Sasuke didn't hear his reply, but he saw Hinata motioning to him to get into the truck.
"Where can I sit?" He asked, clearly surprised and amazed.
"Back of the truck, with me and Coley, the dog," He stood flustering, until Hinata motioned for him again.
The climbed into the back of the truck, and then they rode to the Hyuuga mansion.
"Who is this?" Hiashi asked his daughter and twin.
"Sasuke Uchiha…" He whispered.
"I saw him at school petting Coley. He said he didn't have a place to go, so I asked him if he wanted to come with me dad…" Hinata said as loud as the Hyuga heiress could muster.
"I suppose it's alright…" Hiashi muttered.
"Yes! Come on Sasuke! I'll show you where you can sleep!" Hinata cried, and Sasuke just snapped to attention at that moment, and followed blushing like Hinata does whenever she tries to talk to Naruto. And the only words that he let slip from his mouth were, "Thank you Hinata,"
"You are very welcome…" Hinata said. The next day, Sasuke was adopted into the Hyuuga family.
Whenever Sasuke was with his adopted sister and she came over to Naruto and stuttered, he always wondered why she had never did that.
He always wondered why she had been so brave, why she had been so brave to stand up to her dad. When she had met him. When she had talked to Hizashi (who he had never seen around after that) and it made him wonder why she had never done that with him!
