I was listening to Animal by Neon Trees and this story just came to me. It's somewhat like the song except the 'running and hiding' part. This is like a prequel to 'Don't Worry'. Enjoy and don't forget to R&R.

It's 11.45pm on a Friday night. I'm finding for Ino 'cause she brought me here and she's supposed to bring me back. Wait. You must be wondering where I am now, huh? Well, I'm in a party. Yup. Drunks, grinding, booze, lip smacking. The whole lot...
I see Ino... and Shikamaru, making out. Heatedly. Oh my god! They're going upstairs! Damn. Now I have to wait. I think I'm just going to sit down. Oh! FINALLY, someone I know that's NOT drunk.
"UCHIHA!" I yell above the loud music. Animal by Neon Trees.
He looks up. I grin, pushing through drunkards and side-stepping some vomit. Gross. I take a seat next to him. We sit there for a few minutes, not talking. Not talking is something I can't do, so I looked around finding something to talk about. There's a beer can in his hand. And 3 others next to him. Come to think of it, he looks flushed.
"Sasuke?" I start. "Are you drunk?"
"Not really. Unlike Dobe over there, I can actually handle alcohol." He said.
"Thank God! If you were, then I wouldn't have any sober, or in your case somewhat sober, people to talk to. And Ino went upstairs with Shikamaru." Answering him before he could ask.
I feel uncomfortable 'cause he's staring really intently at me. I look up at him.
"What?" I really hate people staring at me, even though I should be used to it(with my pink hair and all).
"Have you thought about it?" He asks.
"It?" What the heck is he talking about?
"I asked you out yesterday." Aww. He's blushing!
Smiling, I answer "Yes."
"Yes as in you thought about it or yes you accept?" He asks looking confused.
"Yes as in I thought about it and I say yes." I say, beaming.
He looks relieved. Well, as relieved as Uchiha Sasuke can be. He doesn't answer back and just gets settled back in his seat. That's it? Atleast KISS ME! I'm staring at him. I think he sensed my staring. His eyes avert to me.
"What do you want?"
"That's it?"
"What's it?" Are you stupid? I can't believe this dumbass beat me in Finals!
"Aren't you atleast going to kiss me?"
"Should I?" No. You're supposed to bring me to a petting zoo.
"Yes! You know what? Let's just forget about it." I say feeling stupid.
I'm thirsty. I look at the can of beer in Sasuke's hand. So tempting. I'm no fan of beer but I'm desperate, I don't give a shit.
"Sasuke?"
"Hn?"
"Can I have your beer?"
"Aa." He says still not handing me the can.
A few minutes have passed and it's still in his hands. Fuck this. I'm going to get my own! Getting up, I'm suddenly getting pulled back by a hand.
"UCHIHA! I'm THIRSTY!" I scream. I'm so thirsty right now!
He takes a gulp and pulls me down, kissing me. He licks my lower lip and I open my mouth, understanding what he's trying to do. I can taste the bitter-ish liquid that is beer in my mouth, going down my throat. He pulls away. Looking up at him, I grin.
"Thanks!" I beam.
"Hn."
You know what? Screw this! I pull myself onto his lap and kiss him. He's not reacting properly so I'm taking control. He kisses me back and we start our heated makeout session.

"AHEM!" I pull away from him and see Ino, tapping her high-heeled foot with a you-got-some-explaining- to-do look on her face. She pulls me off Sasuke(but not before I give a quick peck on the lips) and drags me towards the door. I look over my shoulder and wink. He smirks and nods.
I'm looking forward to going to school next week.
