It was raining the day my parents decided to that we were going to take a trip but I was the only one who had to pack. When I got in the car I realized only my dad got in as well. I was confused why my mom wasn't coming or where we were going. "dad where are we going?" I asked and looked at my dad. "a special place for you Butters" my dad said and smiled while driving. After a while of driving my dad pulled up in front of the psychiatric hospital of south park. "dad why are we here?" I asked and looked at him while he was getting my stuff out of the car. I slowly got out of the car before I was lead to the door of the hospital. My dad wasn't answering me anymore but he signed me in before he left without saying goodbye. "follow me Butters" the nurse said as she led me to my room. I followed slowly as she explained the rules to me. "do you understand?" she asked and smiled at me. "can you repeat them one more time?" I asked quietly because to be honest I wasn't actually listening when she was talking about the rules. She nodded. "rules for your floor which is floor three. One, you can have snacks between meals but if it is an hour before a meal the snacks are off limits. Two, you can do whatever you want except for leaving or going to other floors. Three, patients on levels four, five and six are off limits of talking to. Four, if you do not feel well or need your meds before time for meds to be distributed please tell the on-duty nurse. The rest of the rules are on the wall in the hallway" she repeated. I nodded and looked around the room that she said was mine. "your parents can bring stuff for you to decorate but it can't be dangerous and we have to know what it is and approve of it before you can have it" the nurse said and I nodded. I sat on my bed and continued to look around. "there is an activity room and a relaxation room down the hall. Group therapy sessions will be posted on the desk in your room when your schedule has been added. The counselor will talk about your case if you want and when he needs to" the nurse continued as she was walking out the door. She slowly finished up and left before I could ask any questions. She told me that lights are out at eleven and breakfast is at seven. I looked at my watch and realized that it was almost ten so I should probably unpack and go to bed.
