Ten Reasons Jim and Bones Are Best Friends
#1) Jim is always there to have a drink, especially on the anniversary of Bones' divorce.
#2) When Bones is intent on working, Jim will make him take a day off.
#3) Jim knows Bones hates his birthday, so Jim let's the day pass without so much as a happy birthday.
#4) Not only does Jim put up with Bones' gruff manner, but he manages to enjoy it.
#5) Jim always sets Bones up to say his trademark "I'm a doctor dammit," line.
#6) Jim talks to Bones about things no one else knows, except for Spock.
#7) Bones is the only doctor that Jim has ever listened to.
#8) Jim listens to Bones talk about Joanna.
#9) Bones is always there to patch up Jim. (For which Spock is very grateful.)
#10) Surprisingly, one of Bones' favorite things about Jim is that Jim never says thank you.
