A Circle Does Not End
A honeymoon is something for couple to have some alone time with their new spouses. When you hear the word 'honeymoon', the first thoughts that will come into your mind are the malicious and naughty ones... But for this couple, it meant rest. No special activities for tonight, I'm afraid. Yuri and Wolfram were catching their breaths as they lie down on their bed. They were exhausted from hosting the party, taking care of the guests and bringing their guests to their rooms due to being too drunk to get up and walk. Instead of relaxing and getting pampered, they were the ones who did the work. The thing that made things worse was the upcoming interrogation tomorrow morning about what they did tonight and if they are going to expect children very soon... That was one of the many factors that made the newlyweds' head ache.
"Yuri, why did you make me wear this ring? It made my work more difficult as it is..." Wolfram asked as he looked at the plain, golden ring.
"It's something that reminds us of each other and our status... It also represents fidelity..." Yuri explained. "Did you ever wonder why a ring is circle, not a square or a triangle?"
"Is it because it would look silly if it wasn't in a shape of a circle?" Wolfram guessed.
"It's because a circle foes not end. In other words, it symbolizes eternity. In the case of a wedding ring, it means everlasting love…That is why in Earth, we use wedding rings as a sacramental… I wanted to let you know how it feels like for a person to be loved for the rest of his life by the person who is special to him. I also wanted you to experience wearing something that will remind you of me." Yuri said as he made eye contact with his spouse.
Wolfram smiled and sat up to be able to kiss Yuri's tan cheek. He really thought that it was sweet thing for Yuri to say.
"I'll change my clothes first, is that okay with you?" Wolfram asked.
"Yeah, it's alright… After I change, let's go to bed. I'm so tired of thinking about what they'll be asking us tomorrow…"
Wolfram chuckled and went to the bathroom with his night gown. The only thought that was in his mind was that he'll spend the rest of his life loving the same person… If the circle does end, he won't stop with it, because there was no possible way that he will ever stop loving Yuri…
