It was cold and dark; the sun wouldn't be up for another half hour, but Jack didn't think he could wait much longer. Quick and agile like a snowflake in the breeze, Jack flitted over to Hiccup's bedside where the young viking was still asleep. For a moment he just stood there, a small smile tilting up the corner of his lips as he watched him sleep. He looked so peaceful… It was just too tempting. With a crooked grin, Jack leaned over and blew a cold breath over the side of Hiccup's face. Hiccup stirred a little, and turned around, burying his face under his pillow. Jack chuckled.
"Rise and shine, Princess." he said lightly. "It's time to get up." Hiccup groaned and dug himself deeper under him pillow. Jack sighed and shook Hiccup's shoulder.
"Jack… Jack, stop. It's too early…" Hiccup mumbled from under his pillow. Jack stopped shaking and plopped down onto the bed beside Hiccup.
"Aww, come on Hic." He urged, but Hiccup was back down for the count. Jack frowned. This wasn't going as planned. He glanced at the lump under the pillow, and a mischievous glint sparked in his eyes. "Hey, Hiccup?" he asked in a casual tone. "That's a nice pillow you got there. Mind if I… Borrow it?" With that, he snatched the pillow and held it in the air. Hiccup lifted his head and turned towards Jack, tiredly trying to grab it back.
"Come on, Jack. give it back!" Hiccup said, sitting up to try and reach better. Jack only smirked and held it up higher.
"You want it? Come and get it!"
"You sir, are messing with a dangerous force." Hiccup threatened, lunging for the pillow. His tired limbs betrayed him, and Jack managed to pull it out of his reach just in time.
"I think I'll take my chances." Jack said, gazing at him with a fond look in his eyes and a grin on his lips.
The two wrestled with each other for some time, and the dawns light began peeking its way through the windows. Hiccup finally grabbed the pillow from Jack, and held it victoriously, all sleepiness gone. Hiccup let out a breath. "Got it!" he said. Jack settled down in front of Hiccup and smiled.
"Yes you do." he said softly. He leaned forward and gave Hiccup's lips a cold, quick peck, taking the young dragon trainer by surprise. "Happy Valentines Day." he murmured.
"Happy Valentines Day, Jack." Hiccup said in return, a smile gracing his face as he leaned forward to kiss Jack again.
The two sat there, kissing and cuddling as the sun continued to rise on Berk, making the snow sparkle like tiny frozen stars, content with the world they lived in and happy in each other's arms.
-The End-
So I'm getting back into writing fanfiction. Woot! This was my first time writing Hijack, so I hope I did a good job with their characters. I wrote this at like 4-5am so if there's a typo I missed, let me know?
I hope you enjoyed it! Happy *Late* Valentines Day!
I'm taking writing requests now. You can either send me a message on here, or you can send me an ask on tumblr. Here's a linky thingie to both my tumblr, and this story: post/76623699833/im-bored-lets-write-short-fluff-fics-hijack (copy/paste it?)
If you send me a request, please don't make it too nsfw? I don't know how to write the fricky frack, but I can still do some things. I'm really bad at explaining... ummmmmm... just tell me what you want and I'll do what I can. Whew. Ok. Hope that sums it up? Thanks for reading!
( Also, just going to mention this because, hey, fun fact. My best friend's last name is Haddock, and I call her my 'Princess' a lot. So I felt I had to call Hiccup a princess at least once in this. So, yeah! There's your fun fact about the story. Ta daa?~ )
