A typical day in the Vocaloid household is always quite interesting. Before anyone else even wakes up, one or the other of the "Devil" twins, Rin and Len Kagamine - usually Rin - will pull off one of their famous pranks that are very well-known to the Vocaloid gang. Chances are, one of the non-morning-people, such as Meiko, will have a very unpleasant surprise awaiting her in the kitchen, something like a handmade bomb in the microwave, or a disgusting something-or-other in the refrigerator.

During Meiko's screamed profanities that almost always followed, Rin would sneak back into her room, wake Len up, and they'd proceed with the next prank of the day.

Even though Kaito was obsessed with ice cream, it definitely wasn't the first thing he wanted down the back of his shirt in the morning. Flailing around like a madman was incredibly amusing for the twins to watch, and Kaito did exactly that.

Giant evil leeks couldn't keep the Kagamines away from their next trick, whose target was Miku, and she had lots of those scary things. Hiding was generally their best bet when Miku whipped out her weapons, but they had to take risks if they wanted the pranks to happen, or, more specifically, Rin made Len take risks.

Inside Miku's bed now lay dozens of orange and banana peels, all left over from last night's food fight in the twins' bedroom. Just as Len finished replacing the bedspread, Rin yanked him backwards, dragging him by the foot to their hiding spot at the same time Miku opened the door.

"Konnichiwa," Miku said with a smile, not even questioning the fact that the twins were crouched behind her dresser. "Luka-nee is almost done making lunch."

"N-no!" Len blurted before Rin slapped a hand over his mouth.

"Oranges included on the menu?" Rin inquired casually, as if it was the most normal thing in the world to be sitting on the floor with a hand splayed on her brother's face - well, it kinda was, but whatever.

POW~! Quite suddenly, Rin and Len were bombarded with leeks and pillows, courtesy of Miku - and it was none too pleasant. Rin snatched her brother's wrist and sprinted out of the room in a flurry of vegetables, feathers, and peels.

Sadly (for Luka, at least), she was the final target for their incessant trickery and pranking needs. Taking a few dead, rotten tuna, the twins tiptoed to Luka's bathroom and dropped the stinky, scaly mess into their fellow Vocaloid's bathtub.

Underneath them, the floor was turning a sickly yellowish-brown color, and smelled rather fishy. Very sorry did they feel for the poor person whom had to clean it up, most likely the tuna-lover herself, but they had no time to dwell on it, lest they face her wrath.

Wrath avoided, Rin and Len stuck their feet into their own bathtub, and after getting that mess off changed into their pyjamas, then crawled into their ridiculously large bed.

Xylophonic melodies made their way through Rin's and Len's heads, bringing them ever closer to passing out after the long day of tricks, pranks, and practical jokes that somehow never got them in any serious trouble.

Yes, thought Luka as she pulled the Kagamines' orange-and-yellow blanket up over the twins' shoulders, wait, no...HOW CAN THEY BE SO EVIL DURING THE DAY, BUT SO INNOCENT AND PEACEFUL AT NIGHT?!

Z's were floating above Rin's and Len's heads by the time Luka made it to the door, shutting it silently behind her after fondly looking at her "children" one more time.
