Song Fic 1

Jack was sitting by his locker, bashing his head against it, annoyance whirling around his brain. How could he have been so stupid? Kim was the one for him, how could he have kissed Donna? As he looked up, he saw the love of his life, the blonde beauty, cross across the hall. For a moment, a spark of joy sprang in my stomach. But died away as she brushed past him, disappointment filling her watering eyes. I couldn't blame her. I was so foolish, I tore apart her heart and made a mess. No girl desereves this.

Later that day, I spotted her heading towards the park, after school.

"Kim!"

She turned, smiling. Then as she saw the caller, it was replaced with a scowl. She wheeled back round, and speeded up.

"Kim, please, I need to speak to you!" Jack gasped, running. Kim didn't speak, nor did she look at either of him.

Their whole relationship was trashed. She would never betray him, she was so good and loyal; so why was this happening to her? She suddenly relised she had stopped. Jack was placing his arms on her shoulders, looking her straight in the eye.

"I'm so sorry," Jack said, "I didn't mean it to end up like this. I came here to fix things."

"Yeah likes that's going to happened." She wiped her eyes and growled.

"Please..." Jack uncomfortably paced around. "I don't know what came over me. I just saw...Donna came right onto me, but I should have pushed her away."

Kim tried to calm her temper, but whenever her name was mentioned, he couldn't help get angry.

"Kimmy" Alex groaned. "There was/is nothing going on between Donna and I."

Kim turned and began to walk away.

"Kim, please don't...you walk away...I know I'll fade..! There is no one else, but you! I love you Kim, the moment I saw you, the moment I looked at you. I knew you were the one."

"Jack I don't know. You broke my heart." He could hear her voice and how it trembled.

Kim took a shaky breath and began moving away from him.

"Wait." Jack followed her, wanting to talk to Kim again. He couldn't go home yet, as much as talking about everything hurt her, he needed to be forgiven.

"Kim, I promise, I'll be here, by your side forever. I will never leave you again."

They stood right by each other and didn't utter a word for a minute. A single tear ran down Kim's cheek.

"Kim," Jack started, "After everything we've been through, I can't believe that I did that too you. I shouldn't have. I know I've said this a million times already, but I'm sorry. For everything."

Kim stared at him and sniffled.

"Please don't leave things like this between us. I can't stand it," Jack finished.

Kim sighed and shook her head. Jack spotted the sides of her mouth turn upwards. Just a little.

"Jacky, I've never loved anybody as much as I love you. I need you."

Could she trust him? Was all of this heart ache worth it? Would he break her heart all over again?

"I don't know what else to say other than I love you, Kim. From the moment I met you. Can we please just try one more time? I know I've had too many chances and I don't deserve another but-"

"Yes," Kim simply said.

"What?" Jack said.

"Yes. I'll give you one more chance. Just one." Kim looked into Jack's eyes. "I love you too much to say no."

"Kim, I-"

She interrupted him with a kiss. A short sweet one, before she pulled back and whispered in his ear.

"It's gotta be you"
