She remembered the day it happened. Annabeth Chase was annoyed that day. Granted, she was always annoyed, at everyone. But that day...well today was
the worst day she had had in 5 years! She was having a bad hair day, a bad clothing day, and she was even late for class! Causing her to get her first
detention ever. One of her wacky friends even had the nerve to call it a bad hair-clothing-detention-day. BHCDD for short.
Plus, the night before she had gotten in a fight with her dad. Basically he accidentally called Helen her mother, and she um...corrected him.
This happened usually; but yesterday herr father took it to far, and said, "Look Annabeth, your mother is GONE, and she's never coming back!"
They had to understand her mood that day! Please, they had to. She wasn't mean-just miss understood.
That day Annabeth had a purpose of getting through school with a scowl on her face. Everyone knew not to get in her way.
She snapped at her friends who were teasing her about the never before seen curly hair she displayed. Usually she had about 30 minutes in the morning to straighten her hair. She liked her hair neat, straight, and organized.
So when this loser, Logan...Logan something, smashed a plate of mashed potatoes and gravy into her designer shirt...everybody stopped what they were doing.
Logan was excited though. He had won his last soccer game he'd been to-he had to tell his friends! He wasn't looking where he was going and "Splat".
How was she supposed to know?
He apologized profusely but...she was having a bad day.
And a look into Annabeth's eyes showed the attempt was futile.
He bowed his head and headed for his last option: turn, and run.
But he couldn't because Annabeth's boyfriend and bodyguard-Luke Castellan, and his friend Ethan Nakumora were towering above him looking quite scary.
Logan gulped and turned around.
To see Annabeth glaring at him-looking much scarier than the boys.
'You freak! What the heck is wrong with you! This outfit cost more than your whole family is worth! Oh wait I forgot-your the only one in your family that's alive, and look at you- you're obviously...worthless."
Logan frowned and he should have. His family were a sore spot for him. His father and Uncle had gotten themselves into trouble one day and...and...I don't remember.
"Your an idiot, I mean look at yourself...you can't coordinate your way through the cafeteria and you can't read properly." I examined the fact that he was twitching and fiddling through this whole conversation. "What's wrong with you?" She concluded. Logan's agonized face made her feel a twinge of something.
No one really remembers what else she said. She might have but the harsh words are probably buried deep in her brain due to the guilt.
She didn't think much of it. She remembered after her speech Luke had a little chat with Logan. She doubted there were any words exchanged though...just a lot of fists.
At that time she seemed smug about how her boyfriend stood up for her. Now, she wasn't so sure what to think.
This is a totally new thing of mine. I have planned this out to the extent of severe bipolarness. So...what do you think? Love it? Hate it so much that you want to rip your computer to pieces? Also, I might just delete this story if no one says it's good...
