A/N:
This is a short ONE-SHOT story I wrote in about half an hour. Yes, I know it was pretty quick but writing is the only way that can make me released my feelings. Yes, this is based on a true story but I only wrote the important parts.
Summary:
She's tired of waiting. Tired of hanging around like a pet. Tired of everything, she's willing to let it all out to that one person.
"Talking"
'Thoughts'
A seven-teen year old girl with long auburn silk hair set flying with the wind and enchanting emerald orbs held with many emotions. Sitting down on a swing in the empty park, you can see her in deep thoughts.
Listening to music from her Ipod she looks up the night sky filled with bright stars shining down to the city of Tomoeda. Standing up she began dancing under the streetlights releasing all her feelings. Her beautiful green dress with two layers moved side to side with her body, not noticing a figure running to her.
"Sakura!"
The girl stopped dancing and turned around to see a handsome eight-teen year young boy with messy chestnut hair and captivated amber orbs dressed in jean pants and a black Fender shirt.
"Sakura, I've been looking all over for you." He gasped for air
"Why, Syaoran?" She asked
"I wanted to see you." He flashed her a charming smile that'll melt a girl's heart
'I'll not fall for that, like I did before.'
"Syaoran, I have something to tell you."
"What is it?" he stepped up as she stepped back
'Either now or never' She clutched her dress from the side
"Syaoran, I think we should stop seeing each other."
Syaoran tilted his head to the side with a confusing face asking her why
"I'm tired of being played around. Even if it's not a game, but I don't want to be a pet following its owner." She paused to see if he showed any expressions. "I can't take it anymore, Syaoran! I'm tired of being confused if we're an item or not." Sakura began having tears. "We may kiss, go on dates and hold hands like every other couples out there, but what does that mean to you! Are we more than friends or not?" Sakura took the necklace from her neck that he gave to her months ago and slowly let it go from her hand to the ground.
"Sak------"
"NO!" She cut him off "I'll not let you play with my heart anymore LI!" His eyes widened at the call of his surname
"Everybody was right, though. It's the one fact that you do love playing with girls' feelings. Then you leave them." Sakura's anger boiled "I'm tired of being lead on, Li. Just don't come into my life and break my boy-hater barrier and then leave acting like nothing happened." She whispered hard on the last line
"I've had enough of this! I think it'll be better if we go back to being strangers in each others' eyes. Just like how it was a few months ago." Sakura walked off leaving him standing on the streets as it began to rain
From that day on, they grew more apart. Sure, they may say small hellos to one another here and there but that'll be all. They remained being away from each other, leaving the past by letting it flow onto the air. Just letting nobody know why they grew apart.
