You're Paying

Hello! Sorry I updated the wrong chapter of The Privilege of Being Yours. Sorry but this computer can be stupid sometimes. Any, I was going to put up the real chapter but it mixed up some files and no I have no clue where anything is…yada yada yada…. I hope you enjoy this new story about best friends having chem. Hehe.

Rocky's POV

I was proud to be at that moment strolling through the halls with my best friend, Gunter Hessenheffer. He had been my best friend since Cece and I got into a huge fight about a certain spotlight dance. I know, it sounds stupid, but it went much deeper than just a dance.

You see, Cece has always been pressuring me to do things that are wrong. With Gunter, it doesn't matter. Gunter is not a glittery freak, and is insulted if you refer to him as that. He changed, ever since I scheduled a makeover with him and my brother. But that wasn't when we started becoming friends. We started being friends in 10th grade, after Cece left me.

Gunter and I were currently joking about a frequent joke we always talked about : "You're paying." Yes, there is a long story behind it, but in a nutshell, it is just something said typically when somebody is angry. Gunter and I mocked them. Currently, Marie Valdez was steaming about Shannon Chester calling her a …

"G, you're gonna pay!" I mimicked, making Gunter laugh.

"Hi, Rocky!" a voice called. It was Cece Jones.

See, when Cece left me, she had a reign of popularity. She dated boys 24/7 and she flipped her hair at all the right moments. But, everything changed when she got glasses.

Normally, you don't get mocked for having glasses. Nobody really cares. But when your mother refuses to buy them so she gives you her old ones from the 60s that are ugly brown and throw-up color, you're going to get bullied.

Cece had tormented me in her reign, and now that it ended she was trying to be all "BFF" with me. Yeah, no.

"How are you?" Cece called from behind us. I just ignored her.

"Where are you going now?" Still ignored.

"Why are you…" Cece began before Gunter cut her off.

"Obviously she does not want to talk or see you, and nor do I. You are very irritable and not worth our time. Begone, or you're going to pay," he said. I tried so hard not to burst out laughing at that second. Cece looked shocked, so she just turned and ran the other direction.

"I feel so bad for her," I murmured absentmindedly.

"Yeah but you know you hate her at the same time." Gunter pointed out. It was true, too.

"How can you not?" I admitted.

"Well, I should probably head to my locker- the bus is probably going to leave soon." Gunter said, leaving.

"Bye!" I called back.

.:::::.

I was walking out of my apartment building when I saw Gunter and Ty sitting there. I opened the door silently and was going to go talk to them when I heard my name.

"Why can't you? It is simple!" Ty cried.

"For you! I… I never felt this way about any other girl." Gunter said.

"Just ask!" Ty cried. "Just ask."
