Canine Sixth Sense

Levi could sense its presence, though the Winchester's could not. His canine sixth sense allowed him this privilege and he would use it to his advantage. He snuck in behind the banshee, who looked human in outward appearance, but the smell was driving Levi crazy. If he didn't act soon she would raise her clarion call and kill the Winchester's, shattering glass and blood vessels.

Levi moved forward slowly on all fours, knowing that at any minute the banshee could turn around and tear him apart but he continued on, braving the danger to save the Winchester's and the girl the Banshee was after. Vanessa was his master and friend; he would not let anything happen to any of them.

Levi advanced on the demonic woman and grabbed her throat before she could scream. The woman's face and skin turned a dreadfully pale shade, hair turning pure white and even her clothes became ragged gray garments. Still, none of this mattered now. Levi had done his job. The banshee was dead and Vanessa, Sam, and Dean were safe.
