The sight was hauntingly beautiful. There she stood. The titan haired goddess in nothing more than Mulder's torn knick's shirt. And as if to add to the fantastical atmosphere, in her hand, a handful of sunflower seeds.

It was no surprise that even his sly footsteps were audible to her analytical ears. He'd planned on sneaking up from behind, wrapping his arms around her petite waist. But instead she turned around.

A plastered smile containing nothing but the feelings of love and joy was now gracing her pale complexion.

Infected by emotion, the corners of his mouth subconsciously lifted, brilliantly transitioning his expression of awe into an ecstatic demeanor.

The sunflower seeds slipped through her fingers.

The misty blue ocean's of her eyes were fixed upon him as if he was the eighth wonder of the world. Perhaps to her, he was.

The most beautiful thing in existence.

A flower in a barren field.

She walked to him slowly.

A single finger smoothly slipped under his shirt and she traced a pattern upward on his chest, marking her territory.

Her plump, pursed lips were then inches apart from his, burning with an inferno of desire.

Closer… Closer…

She was so tempting; he just couldn't wait to –

"Mulder… Mulder…?" Scully's eyebrows were arched and her arms were folded.

"Uh, Sorry – Must have zoned out."

"Uh-huh." She nodded doubtfully, "What I was saying… the autopsy was lacking in…"

And then he 'zoned out' once again to his realm of fantasy, which he hoped more than anything would be the realm of the future.
