The Great Mythos of Dan
Chapter 2: The Longest Chapter Ever.
As Dan walked out of his village that he had just been banished from, he found a guy named Tom sitting under a tree.
"Well what are you doing here Tom, I didn't know you'd be here!" Dan said, talking to Tom.
Tom shook his head, "I knew you would be banished Dan. I too have special powers that I can use to help us on our adventure."
"No, you cannot do it Da-Tom, because it is too dangerous" Dan said, replying to Tom
"But we have to save the princess or else your brother may not be intact." Said Tom, fondling the tree behind him.
"You might be correct." Dan said. "Hold on, I must get my trusted companion eagle." Dan whistled into the air before his eagle came and landed on his shoulder. His eyes looked like they were on fire, like the mystical beast that his village wrote stories about. The eagle though only had one wing, on the center of his back. Such a magnificient creature was only born once every 1,000,000 years.
"I remember when the last trusted companion eagle was born." Said Tom, alluding to something unknown right now. He giggled, hiding his true motives from Dan. This would have made Dan sad, but he didn't know.
"Right then, let us get going." Said Dan, proceeding on the path. He jumped on his eagles back because it grew to be bigger to let Dan and Tom ride on him. They took off for the journey of tomorrow.
