Blaine thought back to the night of September 30th. A look of pain flashed across his face as fuzzy memories of that night slowly came back to him. He would never forget that night. It wasn't long until sounds were also coming back to the memories. A high pitched scream, the sickening sound of metal ramming into the human skull, and the dead silence of the world around him. That night would change his life forever.

"Well Daddy? What happened to him?" A soft voice said, snapping Blaine back into reality. Blaine looked over at the little boy that was sitting next to him, and smiled slightly. The little boy was perfection in his eyes. It was a symbol that his love was still living on.

Toronto had dark curly hair, and hazel and green eyes. His checks were a shade of light pink, and his nose was perfectly rounded.

"What happened to my other Daddy?" He looked up at Blaine with awe. Blaine looked ahead of him, starring at the birds that were chirping in the trees. He breathed in the park's air, closing his eyes, then opening them again.

"Well… You see Toronto… Daddy… He left a long time ago."

"Where did he go?" Toronto was playing with one of Blaine's fingers.

"He went to go be with the people that he loves."

"Then… why isn't he here? Doesn't he love us?" Toronto looked up, beginning to worry. He had never met his other father. He had only seen pictures of him. But he still wanted his other father to love him the same way that this father did.

"You're still young Toronto… So you don't understand a lot of things yet. Your other father still loves you. And he's still with you. The ones that really love us, never really leave us."

"Then why haven't I seen him? Why hasn't he come home with us? Why hasn't he been to any of my dance recitals? Why hasn't he been to any of our birthday parties?"

"He has Toronto, he has. In a sense. You see, Daddy was always very special. He was very brave. But everyone has a time to leave us in life. His just came earlier than others."

"I don't understand… When can I meet him?"

Blaine sighed as he rubbed Toronto's back.

"I'm not sure Toronto…" Toronto looked down at the bench that they were sitting on. He then looked up at his father, and just hugged him. Blaine's eyes were beginning to fill with tears. Blaine sniffed, wiping one of his eyes.

"Please don't cry Daddy. Other Daddy wouldn't like that. You said that he was always happy, and that he had courage. So why shouldn't you be happy?"

Blaine held Toronto tight, smiling as tears fell from his eyes.

"I am. I am."

"Then why do you still cry?"

"… Because I'm not strong enough to let go quiet yet."
