Disclaimer: Battlestar = not mine, Breathe = Superchick, please review :D
Labored breaths rippled through her chest. She had struggled and fought for so long. It all had taken its toll and Laura started to falter in her fight for life.
Please tell me
you'll fight this fight
I can't see without your light
I need
you to breathe into my life
Don't tell me this is goodbye
Warm hands found their way around her cold ones. They were always cold; it was just part of the disease – part of her. However, it never meant that Bill had to accept the fact. Laura wasn't going to give up her fight. She couldn't. Because he wouldn't let her, she couldn't leave him.
I won't grieve -
it's not yet time
Each breath breathed is keeping hope alive
Hot fire started to swirl around strained lungs. The simple task of breathing was intensifying by the moment. Laura knew she should keep going. Just one breath at a time, it was routine.
So keep
breathing
Go on breathe in
Keep on breathing
Go on
breathe in
Just breathe
Tears pool in his ocean blue eyes. He knew she was loosing the fight. Bill had witnessed Laura's immense bravery and determination. Though only so much can get a person, even the strongest of them, through the battle.
Each breath
breathed means we're alive
And life means that we can find
The
reasons to keep on getting by
Warmed loved lips press against her chilling hand. Every time they met it is as though the world has stopped – just for a moment. She nestles into his soft embrace. Laura needs him; she needs a reason to fight this fight.
And if reasons we
can't find
We'll make up some to get by
'Til breath by breath
we'll leave this behind
In individual moments, made of different meanings, everything tumbles down. She has given her reason for fighting. It is known to those present. So Much Life. Life was her reason to keep fighting and now life could begin again – for some. Ever so slowly his body mournfully moved toward the frozen shell of a once great woman. Vibrant blue met lifeless green. Bill's eyes plead for his love to breathe again. He remained here, he could be her reason. She could breathe for him as he breathed for her. She didn't. The fight was over, the reasons were gone. His lips brushed across her delicate ear one final time;
All you have to do is breathe
