"GRRRR" That was the only noise I heard the second I opened my eyes. I looked around and saw multiple wolf looking monsters. I felt the familiar steel from my sword on my right hand and gun on my left hand. I saw his paw come down on me as if to try and kill me. I immediately rolled out of the way dodging his paw and getting up on a standing position. I took the time to analyze my surroundings and saw that I was in the middle of a forest. The wolf had glowing red eyes it was standing on two feet with some with armor on certain spots of their fur. It was noticeably angrier at my dodge. 'Why of all the places, why'd she have to drop me off in the middle of a forest? Where's the people she said would be here?' Well it doesn't look like I have any other choice but to fight these beasts. The four wolves charged at me while I took a battle stance. The one in the middle reached me first. I side stepped as it ran past me and stabbed the second one in the face. I pulled my sword out as it collapsed and slashed at the third one across it's chest. The first one came running back at me and attacked me before I could react sending me flying.

I stopped the flight by stabbing my sword straight into the ground. I stood up looking back the wolf only to see that it's pack had come to join. I looked down to my gun remembering it's use. "Does it really work?" I asked myself. "Only one way to find out." I held the gun up to my head and pulled the trigger. Orpheus in a matter of seconds was standing in front of me with his lyre in hand.

"I art thou, and thou art me. From thee sea of thy soul, I cometh. Orpheus, Master of Strings." When it finished saying that it pulled a couple strings on it's lyre setting fire to some of the wolves, but not all. The majority remained alive. I remembered the night on top of the dorm when that shadow attacked. Orpheus had cast many agi spells in hope of defeating it, but the shadow had dodged them all. That's when the headache started. I got down on one in knee and held my head in hope of depleting the pain. However, the pain only got worse and worse. I looked up and saw Orpheus in pain has it was being ripped apart from the inside. 'Why was this happening again?' This is just like the night of my awakening.' Multiple thoughts raced through my head only making the pain worse. As it finished ripping through Orpheus that's when the pain reached it's peak. I heard the familiar screech of when Thanatos was summoned. I looked up and saw the familiar figure with it's coffins surrounding his back.

Then my memory went blurry but when I came to everything was dead and Orpheus was back in the place of Thanatos and he disappeared. On my one knee I fell to the ground exhausted from the pain that I had endured. I blacked out.

Earlier.

"Aha!" I heard Elizabeth say nearby.

"Elizabeth?" I asked surprised by her sudden out burst. "What happened?"

"I found a way of getting you out of the seal!" My eyes widened. I looked at her but her face went from happy to sad. "But... it won't be in this world. The only way would be for you to be sent to that world to stop any anomalies from happening in this world bringing death to it. You'll unfortunately also be an anomaly there also because there's no heritage there in which I can make you be born from, but it won't be bringing death to that world." My happiness slowly faded when I realized that I wouldn't be brought back into the world with my friends.

"What's it called?" I started thinking about whether I should be brought there or stay here. I might as well find out about it meanwhile.

It's called Remnant. There's another catch." She went from sad to sadder. "It's in grave danger. You have to protect that world." I thought that would be the catch. The first time I met her was because I had to save a world, so this really didn't surprise me. She spoke again with a sad expression still on her face. "I'm sorry that I couldn't find anything better."

"It's alright. It's enough that you're giving me life once again. If you were to bring me there, what would be my story?" I asked.

"That's for you to figure out." A small smile crept up her face. Well, if it truly was in danger, then I have to defend it. "So what do you say? Do you want me to take you there?"

"Let's do it." A smile now overtook her face as a card appeared in her hand.

"Hold on to this. It'll come in useful when I leave you there. Don't look at it, just put it in your pocket." I did as she said and put the card in my pocket and looked around and took one last look at my world. "I'll drop you off near a group of huntresses. That's the name of those who fight the monsters of that world. You can tell them what you came up with. I'll be visiting you every now and then to see how you're doing. Until later Minato Arisato." White engulfed me and that was the last I saw of my world. Who knows, I might make new friends here. It might not be all that bad.

"Shouldn't we help him?" Yang sounded worried for the blue haired boy who was taking a battle stance against the beowolves.

"Not yet. He seems to know what he's doing. This way we can see what he's capable of, and if he's an enemy, we know how to fight him. If he's friendly, well then we help him out." Yang didn't seem to happy with that answer but complied anyway.

"If you say so sis." The first beowolf charged at him as he sidestepped and stabbed the second one.

"See? He knows what he's doing." I had made that judgment call, but in reality I wasn't to sure of it and hoped I was right.

"Well he seems to have forgotten of the first beowolf, 'cause it's charging straight at him and he's not doing anything about it." Blake spoke for the first time since the training had started. He turned around to late. I flinched when I saw him get smacked right in the face and get sent flying a couple meters. He would've continued flying had he not stabbed his blade straight into the ground.

"That's it. I'm going in." Weiss stood up and was about to intervene when he put the gun in his hand to his head.

"What the hell is he doing?!" I asked rhetorically. We all stood up to try and stop him but he pulled the trigger before we could even take a step. All of our jaws dropped when instead of seeing his body drop we saw a figure about twice his size appear in front of him. The 'thing' that had appeared in front of me said some word but we were to far away to hear them. He plucked a couple of strings and the forest immediately caught fire along with a couple of other beowolves. He suddenly dropped to one knee and was holding his head and released a scream as something ripped out of the being. The new being screeched deafening my team and I. The being charged the beowolves cutting most in half and picking up others and ripping them. When he finished killing off the pack, it turned back to the first being. The blue haired boy collapsed on the floor and wasn't getting up.

Still shocked, my sister asked "Ruby, should we do something?" I nodded as we started running over to the boy and tried waking him up. He didn't move an inch

"We should get him out of here and extract." The rest of my team nodded as we made out of the forest as we carried him out.
