"The History of the Reed"

In the past, the four brothers Reed.
Clow, Laurel, Clieve and Lance
Brought forth the magical cards
Used for the keeping and maintaining of Life
Humanity prospered beneath their wake.


Yet the Card of Death escaped
Enveloping the earth, leaving plague and pestilence
And so the moon guardians four
Yue, Crescent, Artemis and Luna
Placed forth their power to entrap it.


However, this was not enough
And so Lance, the youngest of the Reeds,
Life was forsaken as his blood completed the seal.
Death was vanquished, trapped within the altar of the reed.
And there he shall sleep, for the seal is contained
By the essence of Lance and the power of the guardians of the moon.
