The Change:
1999
Normal - that was what I was used to and happy with but since the night of my twentieth birthday, my life's been crazy. The reason for this being, my twin sister and I lived in an orphanage down in our birthplace of New Orleans, Louisiana since as far back as I can remember to when we turned eighteen and had to find an apartment in New Orleans.
We never knew the dark history of our family because we never knew our parents except by their names, Jack and Selene DuBois. When we researched our parents after leaving the orphanage, we found that there were police reports, that were dated in December of 1979, saying that there was a fight but later they died from blood loss from their wounds. After that first night of the change, We knew that we were not quite human, that we were a type of shifter, but we helped each other learn to control our side that was strong when the moon was full.
We're not alone though, my sister and I, we'll handle our problem together and overcome it.
