This is a deleted scene from "Stockholm Syndrome - Ch. 6". Loki's guards try to persuade him not to make a bad choice.
Although I thought I liked this scene and it was cute, it disrupted the narrative flow of the story, so I had to cut it.
"A Bad Choice"
"Dude, you can't do it," pleaded Agent Jones.
"Whyever not? Darcy's favorite movie is that awful Say Anything. She made me watch it. Twice. She cried the entire time. This song is perfect. The lyrics are spot on," Loki reasoned with him.
"Doesn't matter. You can't do it," Agent Smith chimed in.
"But it speaks of his beloved staying beautiful forever as his bride, her dark hair, soft skin. It fits her perfectly."
"Dude, you cannot play "Possum Kingdom" during your proposal. Where did you even hear that song? It's way too creepy. I think it's about a serial killer or vampire or something," said Agent Jones, trying not to laugh.
"Look, just give her the speech, kneel down, ask the question, and then give her the apple. It's easy," explained Agent Smith. "If we're going to risk our jobs by busting into Dr. Foster's lab, it'd better be worth it. Don't mess it up."
"Yes, about that. Is the kneeling part entirely necessary?" Loki asked.
"Yes!" barked both agents.
"Very well," Loki sighed. "Let's go."
Author's Note - Thank you so much for reading my stories! Your reviews and encouragement are amazing. The next story in the series is "Loki's First Halloween".
