First Days
Nervous twiddling fingers twined together… 'gosh I need to relax' she thought, 'think: beautiful beaches, rainbows, hot cheetos, scary movies, hot guys…" her mind trailed as a body rushed passed her and sat in the seat adjacent to hers.
'Oh great, now I have a hot guy seating next to me, that's going to make me feel better, god help me" her body shifted, unconsciously, magnetically, ever so slightly, towards the boy. Their knees touched and burned, this caught his attention.
The blueberry blues, anxiously smiled at her, "Hi, my name's Zac"
"Vanessa" she replied shyly
"Nice name" he replied, his face suddenly lit up as he remembered who she was, "I know who you are" he added
"Oh really" she asked questioningly
"Yeah, I was at your premiere once, you were far too busy to say hello" he teased
She blushed, "I'm sorry, I'm kinda oblivious at times" she let out a nervous giggle
He smiled, her giggle had captured him, "Its okay, glad to finally meet you"
"you as well" she said
"Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens" the casting coordinator exclaimed, both instantaneously looked at one another and stood up, unknown to them this was one of the First Days.
Authors Note: I am beginning this new series of drabbles about the first days of these two lovely people who have illustrated the power of love (cliche) and I hope you guys enjoy it.
