"Where were you when it happened?!" she demanded, shouting at the top of her lungs.

Sirius shuffled his feet. "I didn't tell you to try it without me," he argued but quickly shut his mouth when his enraged girlfriend glared at him. She frightened him when she looked like that.

"I wanted to become the falcon I saw." She said, sounding belligerent and stomped her foot, or at least tried to. She was having some trouble controlling one of her legs since it was now a bird leg. She got even more frustrated when her body refused to cooperate since half of it was a falcon and the other half was human. "Kill me now," she said.

"I'll go and get help," Sirius promised, doing his best to sound upbeat. He swiftly collected his wand and ran through the ugly green door.

"Hurry," she yelled, completely irritated with herself. Unfortunately, her voice sounded a little like a squawk, all for the thrill of becoming a beautiful falcon. She would never attempt something like this again, at least not by herself. If Sirius didn't get help quickly, she would be positively vengeful.

It was way too long before Sirius came back with Andromeda.

"What took you so long?" Celia grumbled, one wing crossed with a human arm. She had wanted to sit down but ended up knocking over the chair, and that made her even angrier.

"Now you see the problem, Andy?"

"It's very dangerous, not to mention foolish, to attempt human transfiguration alone," Andromeda advised.

"I was supposed to be there," Sirius explained.

Andromeda rolled her eyes and glared at her rebellious cousin. "A Transfiguration master should have been present in case something like this happened. Not a eighteen year boy who got lucky when this didn't happen to him."

"Trust me. I regret listening to Sirius. Can you fix me?"

Andromeda once again nodded. "Thankfully, the same happened to Cissa, and I had learned how to fix this sort of thing then."

With a wave of her wand and a string of Latin words murmured, Celia was back to her old self. "Thank you, Andy."

"Remember, it could have been a lot worse. Transfiguration is dangerous, especially human Transfiguration. Be more careful for now on."

Celia promised profusely and both she and Sirius said their goodbyes.

That night, while they munched on milk and cookies – Celia introduced the wonders of such a simple snack to Sirius – she was making Sirius promise to ask Professor McGonagall for help.

"I can help you," Sirius said.

Celia glared at him. "Ask Professor McGonagall," she ordered.

"Yes, dear."

And he definitely didn't mind giving in because she rewarded him with a kiss that made his toes curl.
