Just a little drabble I wrote sometime last year and recently stumbled across.
Frowning at Draco making fun of one of the tiny first years, Trinity stealthily grabbed one of the few unopened soda cans scattered over the table. Hermione was busy berating Ron and Harry about not doing their homework but Phoenix's snort showed just how not stealthy the brunette really was. Still she quickly shook the can under the table where no one would see before placing it off to the side, close enough that it appeared she had already claimed it but far enough that she wouldn't accidentally pick it up. It was only a moment before a smug Draco was approaching with his meathead followers. He hardly paused to scoop up the Mountain Dew. The pop and fizz of the soda spraying its owner made their study group stop and turn to look. Trinity quickly grabbed her own drink and took a sip to hide her smile. Unfortunately, Draco chose to immediately repay her prank, silently moving behind her and pushing her drink up so it poured too quickly into her mouth. She sputtered and coughed as soda invaded her airways and spilled down her shirt. She sat blinking in shock as Phoenix helpfully cracked up beside her.
"Worth it," she declared, feeling a sticky hand tug on her pony tail. Draco moved off, muttering about stupid Ravenclaws and their pathetic attempts at pranks.
