A/N: Okay, so clearly I am in a poem-making mood XD Despite that, I felt really inspired to do a poem for Levi (glorious, glorious Levi!) So much so that I post it on a Tuesday and not a Sunday (My posting day). I hope you enjoy! There's a bit of an explanation at the end!

A Few Seconds
It was strange
Because for those few seconds I wasn't the best
I couldn't save you
Or any of the rest
My job is to kill the Titans
To protect all of humanity
Yet in those few seconds
I couldn't even protect my team
Sometimes it's hard to value life
Especially in my line of work
But for those few seconds
My life had no worth
I don't believe in "I'm sorry"
Because I don't believe in mistakes
Though somehow for those few seconds
That was all I could say
Now I'm even colder that ever
And my title as "The Best" isn't true
Because in those few seconds
I couldn't protect you

A/N; So there you have it! Yes! I am in fact infected with the poemitis XD Just joking. I was largely inspired by the scene where Levi's entire team was killed ( I don't want to spoil too much) and yes, guilty as charged, I do ship Levi x Petra ( whatever their ship name is...), but I also ship Levi x Hange... sue me! But I naturally don't ship Levi hard anyway.
I don't think many people understand how important every second in a battle (or life in general) is, and one slip up or miscalculation could mean everything.
So yeah, just wanted to show that, and finally dedicate something to Levi (as well as AOT since I won't be writing much of anything for that beloved fandom of mine)
