Barely out of reach

"Just get away, I made a mistake! It won't happen again, trust me," Tonks yelled at the greasy haired man in front of her. "And why are you so sure of that?" Severus Snape asked as his eyes narrowed to a point where Nymphadora doubted he could see anything. "I just am," she hissed and crossed her arms, but the man in front of her didn't seem convinced. "Don't you have any more arguments to strenghten that statement?"

"Get out of my house! Didn't I just said that I didn't want to see you again, arrogant asshole!" The word were shouted so suddenly, that even Tonks was shocked. Severus however, got up calmly and started to approach the younger woman. A chill ran down her spine as Severus seemed to circle her like a hawk stalking his prey. Tonks stumbled back, until her back hid something solid, but didn't realize it was the wooden door of her living room.

Within a second Severus was so close his breath seemed to stroke her cheek. "I thought you liked it that way." The words were nothing more than are mere whisper, but their meaning was crystal-clear. A blush appeared on Tonks her cheeks, but she simply refused to give an answer. "Guild can be a powerful motive, but you know that you can't deny me when I ask for you favours." For a second, only silence filled the air, almost as if he wanted his words to sink in.

Just as Tonks was to reply, her eyes burning with a fire that begged to be tamed, Severus' lips gently touched hers. Every word she wanted to yell at the potions master was forgotten instantly as thousands of forbidden memories flooded her mind. His lips were so soft, despite the fact that they were always curled up in a sneer. Their lips seemed to be made for each other, but at the same time, it felt so terrible wrong. Severus' tongue slowly slit across her lips, but when Tonks opened her mouth to let him in, he pulled back.

"You're mine, don't ever try to refuse me. Understood?" Severus' tone was so icy, it made Tonks' blood run cold in her veins. She understood perfectly. She was his, as he was hers,… Always present, but just barely out of reach.
