NEW EQUESTRIA: CHRONICLING THE REBELLION AGAINST THE SOLAR EMPIRE

After these thousand years, I feel that it is my time to tell you of the origin of this place we live in. It all started, in the once-great city of Cloudsdale. It was a time when I was young. I was very different from the grayish alicorn you see today. I was just beginning to take my graduation flight test, which had very simple things to complete: clear, fly, fall, complete. I got a bit too cocky before I finished, and smacked my face onto the side of the stadium. When I looked back up, four hooves, facing down greeted me. I failed. Three suited pegasi dragged me to a transport vehicle, then took off to Celestia knows where. I was shoved out, and saw dark walls of cloud. My father, Dr. Atmosphere, came out, and begun to greet us "wastes of space" then froze, looking straight at me. I thought that he might let me go; but instead, he punched me in the face. He then took us inside " The rainbow factory" Into a gigantic room with many rusted machines that were hooked up to tubes that spewed out magnificent color. A memory came back to me: I asked my father how rainbows were made, but he always got nervous and changed the subject. I find out about twenty seconds after my flashback. A chain, attached to a steel harness, Picked up a colt about my age, and dropped him into the whirring machine. Blood was tossed up from the machine as the scream, turned into a moan, then nothing. Suddenly, the machine shuddered and began pumping out a bright green, and yellow fluid into the tubes. The filly next to me vomited, and she was taken next. But, when she was about to drop, the machine stopped. I spotted the familiar glow of magic, and found the source soon after. A red and black Pegasus walked from the crowd, shifted his mane, and revealed a horn. The guards readied their weapons, but the young alicorn was too powerful. I began flying at top speed as the alicorn disappeared; I heard sirens, and a horrendous roar, followed by screaming. Before I knew it, I was being pursued by a grotesque excuse of a Pegasus. As I neared the exit, an explosion of crimson electricity filled the air, and I realized that I just caused a supernova. My excitement was short to last, though. I was about ten feet from the exit, moving at the speed of sound, until my right wing caught onto a meat hook, and was nearly torn off. Next thing I knew, I was falling, thousands of feet in the air. Luckily, various clouds and trees slowed my fall, or I would have been dead. I stumbled into a white building with a caduceus above the door, and was put into a sterile room for many weeks. They asked me how I got this injury, but I strangely couldn't remember. They shrugged, and I left. After the ordeal at the factory, I washed off the blood and checked my flank for any cuts, but I was surprised to see a crimson lightning bolt gracing my blue coat. I stayed in that town for years, depressed for a few, then I met pinkie. She became like an older sister, except for the fact that She's fun. The first time I saw her, She asked why I was depressed. I told her honestly that I didn't remember. Later that day she threw me a party, and for the first time in months, I was happy. END. OF CHAPTER 1
