50/50 Dictionary Challenge, Number Three: Circus

Circus
"All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a CIRCUS!" I screamed the lyrics loudly, and out of tune, while dancing around the empty bar- Tifa had gone out, asking me to close up. And I gladly obliged, since I'm such a great friend and all. So I sang and danced, and danced, and danced, and-
Oof.
"Yuffie."
"Oh, heya, Vinnie!" I chirped, getting on my tip toes and pecking him on the cheek.
Did I mention that Teef might've left the alcohol cabinet unlocked?Well, you know now… Oh! I think he's blushing! Is that possible?
"What are you doing?" He asked absently, his hand on the cheek I'd kissed, looking as if he wanted to wipe it off.
"Cleaning- hic- up. Teef's out with- hic- Chocobo Head." I grinned.
"… Yuffie?"
"Yes, dear?" I focused on him, with feigned difficulty. My vision was swimming a bit… Maybe because I was trying so hard not to laugh at him?
"Are you drunk?" The word 'drunk' didn't really fit Vinnie. I really had expected something more intelligent, more sophisticated… Like intoxicated, or something. I was practically disappointed in him.
"Hey Vinnie?"
"Yuffie."
"Were you watching me?" I asked suddenly.
"Pardon?"
"I was dancing. Were you watching me?"
"I came downstairs to get a glass of water…." He began.
"Were you?" I asked, with a bit more force.
"For a moment…"
Without reply, I stumbled over to the counter, grabbing a cloth as I finished wiping off the bar. He was so loving my dancing! So I got Vinnie his glass of water. And for me? Another shot of gin.
And I downed it.
"Here ya -hic- go, Vinnie!" I grinned, handing him his water.
"Thank you, Yuffie."
"No prob. Night!"
"Goodnight, Yuffie." He said, and kissed the top of my head hesitantly. Then he walked back upstairs without another word.
"Just like a circus." I smiled, perfectly sober.
'Cause I'm a pretty good actress, huh?
