Mario's leap of faith.

At Delfino plaza, Mario had climbed the shine gate again. He loved the view from the top. He could see the entire plaza, and the Pianta's looked like ants from the height. Mario looked down and decided to try something new. Instead of landing harmfully in the water, He decided to perform a leap of faith. A leap of faith is a dangerous thing, where you jump from a building, and with luck, or cosmic coincidence, you will land safely with no damage.

Mario looked down the very high drop, and looked for a possible safe landing. Looking around, Mario has found his spot.

Positioning himself at the right corner, Mario looked down one last time. Closed his eyes, and jumped.

In reality it was a three second fall. But as Mario was falling, three seconds, seemed like an eternity. The wind nearly knocked Mario's hat off. It felt nice; it seemed as if Mario was flying. In his head, he was soaring like a graceful bird. Nothing contorting his dance of flight. The crisp cool air hitting his face. Then, with a natural flow, Mario flipped right side up, as if expecting to land on solid ground any second.

When he was positioned, his feet collided with something. He knew he hit his mark, and so he jumped as the thing he landed on, pushed him upwards again. This resulted in a high bounce. Mario didn't move on his own, he seemed to have been pushed forward, onto anther bouncy material. And again, it seemed as if he was pushed forward. Mario only opened his eyes, when he knew he was finished. Because he had stopped bouncing. The first item he had hit was an umbrella that defied physics. As was the second item. He was now standing on a rooftop, above a building that holds boxes.

The boxes were used as a ground-pound game. But that's beside the point. Mario had executed a successful leap of faith. And due to the incredible fear he has felt, he will not be doing one again, anytime soon.
