It's been a long time since I last posted. This oneshot was conceptualized when I was riding a bus on the way to the university, and it was too cold, because the AC was focused my way. and I forgot my jacket. So the moment I was told that our prof canceled the class for that day, I immediately thought of writing this down.
Enjoy!

Low Tolerance
A Skip Beat fanfic
He watched her sip the coffee eagerly. He smiled when he saw her cheeks return back to their beautiful rosy color. He felt relieved when he saw her shivers go away as she felt warmer.
He did not know why she was standing in front of his apartment that cold night, but he had a guess. After all, he already knew her so well, that in just one glance he could already see what was troubling her. Well, almost, that is. He still couldn't understand her heart.
"Ahhh," she sighed, as she put down the cup. He seized the chance to ask her, "SO, what are you doing here, Mogami-san? I thought I already warned you of the dangers of staying outside late at night, with you being a talent and all."
Her cheeks grew red in embarrassment. At the sight of this, his heart beat faster. Trying to make her comfortable, he slightly diverted the topic. He said, "It's a good thing I arrived before you froze."
She beamed and she replied, "Yeah, if it weren't for Tsuruga-san, I would be dead by now. I really just have a low tolerance for cold weather. But I guess Tsuruga-san does not, right? You're not the kind of person who cannot tolerate anything, aside from people who use showbiz for reasons besides loving it."
She took her cup again, sipped, and sighed. At the same time, he put his cup down, and murmured, "You're wrong. I have another one. I have a low tolerance for you."
He did not mean to let go of his control, but hearing her words made him lose his composure. When he realized what he had said, he glanced at her to see her reaction. To his relief, she didn't seem to have heard what he said, as she asked, "Hmmm? What did you say?"
"Nothing," he replied, smiling that irresistible smile he always used for times like that. He continued, "I was just agreeing with you."
Then he stood up in the pretense of going to the kitchen to look for food.
When she was left alone, she clutched her cup tightly, a deep blush spreading through her cheeks. It was a good thing that she was now a good actress; she had been able to hide the fact that she heard him, and that she understood exactly what he meant.
And that she loved it.
Yeah, it's short. :D But I hope you enjoyed it.
