We started our mission on longbow; I was sitting cleaning my sniper rifle as sergeant gave us the info of what we are doing. "It's our turn to do guard duty on longbow" he shouted over the noise of the pelican's rotor wash. Even from inside the pelican heading for longbow that stuff was pretty damn loud. "The higher-ups want us to investigate the lack of communication with our base"
"Whoop Dee Fucking doo, sir" Our computer expert and our point man, Ben Owens said sarcastically under his breath.
"What was that you said, soldier?" sergeant commanded grabbing him by the front of his uniform.
"Nothing...sir" Ben says, looking pissed while he removes sergeant's hand from his shirt
"Good" sergeant said" because if you did say what I thought you said you'd ... just don't say what I thought you said."
Any dumbass soldier would have come up with a lame comeback but, Ben had enough sense to just stay silent
