Regina knocked lightly on the bug's window. Emma looked up surprised. "What are you doing here?" She asked after unlocking the door and watching Regina sit down next to her.
"Henry told me what happened." The brunette answered. Emma nodded understandingly. "Just go home, Regina! Tell Henry you couldn't find me!"
Regina shook her head sadly. "I didn't come here, because Henry asked me!" Emma looked away from her. "Don't, Regina! Just leave! I don't want to hurt you!"
Regina took the blonde's hands in hers. She waited a moment for Emma to look at her, but it never happened. "Emma, look at me, please?" The blonde reluctantly faced the brunette next to her.
"You won't hurt me! I trust you! I'm here to help you!" Tears filled the blonde's eyes and she leaned into Regina, sobbing in her arms. "I'm a monster!" she sobbed.
"No!" Regina said strongly. "You're not a monster, Emma! You just lost control! It's not your fault!" She reassured her, as she kissed the woman in her arms on the cheek.
"Why would you want to help me? I ruined your life!" Emma sobbed into Regina's shoulder. The brunette smiled. "Emma, you didn't ruin my life! On the contrary! You made me realize that Robin was never meant to be with me, that my heart belongs to someone else!"
Emma suddenly looked up into brown eyes. "Really?" Regina nodded. Then a jealous look crossed Emma's face. "Who?" She asked. Regina's smile widened. "You!" Emma's eyes widened, while the brunette slowly leaned in and kissed her lips lovingly.
"Emma, come home with me?" the blonde sighed. "I can't go back! They're scared of me! All of them, especially Henry! You should have seen the look on his face⦠He doesn't want to see me." One single tear rolled down her cheek.
The brunette put her hands on Emma's cheeks and looked her in the eyes. "I promise you, he doesn't fear you! He was just surprised. When I told him I was going to find you, he begged me to get you home!"
The blonde rolled her eyes. "You're just saying that to make me feel better!" She accused. Regina shook her head. "Use your superpower!"
Emma looked at Regina for a second, before looking at the town in front of her. "I don't want to hurt him! I don't want to hurt anyone else!" The brunette kissed her lips softly. "I promise, I won't let that happen!"
Emma bit her lip looking a few times between Regina and the town, before nodding. "Fine! But if anything happens, I'm leaving and I'll never come back!"
She started the car and drove towards the mansion. "Nothing will happen, my love! I promise!"
The next few weeks, the new couple spent all the time they could on magic lessons, getting Emma to control her powers.
One night, as the two were cuddling in bed Regina looked up at Emma with a smile. "I told you, nothing would happen!" The blonde smiled too. "You were right!"
After a few moments of peaceful silence, she said: "Thank you, Regina! For believing in me and helping me with this!" The brunette kissed her lips gently. "Just like you did for me, so many times!"
Both smiled happily at each other.
A few seconds later, both had fallen asleep holding the other tightly.
This was how it was supposed to be! This was their happy ending!
