SUMMARY:

Bella and Edward's memorable wedding on a cliff.

The Song of my Heart

BELLA POV

Wow. This place is beyond amazing. I love it.

Just what I imagined my wedding venue would be. Overlooking the blue sea, I can feel the cool wind caressing my wedding gown. I can stay at this place forever.

"Bella, you're next." My wedding coordinator told me.

"Dad, don't let me fall." I said as dad hold my arm.

"I won't."

As the instrumental version of "Thousand Years" by Christina Perri began to play, dad asked me,

"Ready?"

"I guess I am." I smiled at him.

The aisle was filled of yellow and pink roses, I found my friends; Angela, Eric, Jessica with her boyfriend Mike, and of course my best friend, Jacob. He winked at me when I smiled at him. Mom is sitting beside Esme and Carlisle. Alice and Jasper we're on the front sit beside Rose and Emmette. I'm so happy to see all my close friends and family members are all here to support Edward and I.

I purposely didn't look at Edward as soon I walked down the aisle because I know if I do, I won't look at anyone but him. I saved the best for last.

As soon as I saw him, he smiled that crooked smile that made my heart skip a beat again. He's looking at my eyes now, only mine.

When we got near him, Dad put my hand into Edward's and said "Take care of her, Edward"

"I will, Charlie." He answered.

"Hi, beautiful." Edward told me when we were standing in front of the pastor.

"Hello there, hottie." He laughed at my words.

And then, the exchanging of vows began. I didn't prepare my vows; I'll say what my heart says.

Edward,

I know that God planned this day for the two of us. Maybe he's also thinking of you when he made me. I want to thank Him for giving you, for giving me a guy that would be my spiritual mentor, my lover, and my bestfriend. I want you to know that no matter what happens, I'll be on your side, I'll be your teammate. I will do my best to help you with your weaknesses. I promise to make the rest of our lives a happy one. I love you so much, Babe.

I got teary-eyed while saying my vow. I just can't help it. Saying these things to Edward for everybody to witness, made me so happy. The guests were also teary-eyed when it's Edward's turn.

Babe,

You don't know how happy I am today, seeing you in your wedding dress, marrying me. God is so good to me, for giving me someone like you. I want you to know, that I prayed for you, and I asked you from Him. Maybe, after this wedding, there will be times that we will argue about something, but I know we're going to settle that immediately. I promise to give my best to not make you cry, or even hurt you. I will be there if you trip on your own feet, if you need comfort, if you need hugs and kisses after a long day at work. I will watch chick flicks with you while eating ice cream. I love you so much, sweetheart.

I've never seen Edward cry until now. It's amazing seeing the one you love cry because of his love for you.

God, we promise to glorify You in our marriage.

After that, we exchanged rings.

"I, do."

"I, do."

And as the pastor says,

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride."

I believe in my heart, that Edward belongs to me, and I, to him.

i was thinking to continue this story. good idea? :) Review!

1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
