CHAPTER 1 - PAST
A new girl had come to camp a day after Leo, Piper and Jason had arrived. Her name was Katie Hills and she had jet black hair and jet black eyes. She was quite sporty and enthusiastic and took part in most of the games. She defeated Clarisse in wrestling once. She was best in sword fighting. That night she was claimed by Poseidon, god of the sea. Thus she shifted to cabin three with Percy. That explained why she was good at sword fighting.
CHAPTER 2 – MY BEST DAY
KATIE'S POV
It's been almost a month since the Second Great Prophecy got over and the campers went around doing their usual activities. Percy was taking sword fighting this morning. And I had almost learnt everything he taught me and the others. Of course Percy is said to be the best swordsman after Luke but I wanted ask him to duel with me. Not right now, I told myself. But after the sword fighting class Percy himself challenged me. Annabeth started the game. Clink clonk stattt zappppppppp. Our swords clashed against each other. Percy tried to deflect my blade. I understood his move and sidestepped. I tried to disarm him but he was as quick. He whizzed around and stopped my sword. After about an hour of fighting, I told him to stop the match for some time. "I will defeat you may be tomorrow "I told him and started walking towards the cabins. "Where are you going by the way?" he asked me. I blushed, "Got some matters to fix." I watched him looking confused as I walked away. I still could not believe that he was so childish even if he was twenty one.
Its great being a younger sister but I was just like sheesh! Percy was 6 years older to me! Yep I am 15. I walked toward cabin number three. Poseidon. I went in and quickly changed my outfit as my previous one was dripping in sweat after the fight. I wore my usual camp t-shirt and a dark blue jeans. On it I put a black leather jacket.
