I'm actually surprised, it's really not that cold. The snow is only flurrying now so Maka and I went out to hang out. We clear off a bench and sit down to wait for the others to get here. The park is actually enjoyable today because there are no little brats running around picking their noses.
"It sure is nice out huh Soul?"
Maka is kicking the snow with her boots, she looks really happy.
She couldn't get more adorable.
"Yeah sure is, I'm glad we came out while the snows calmed down."
I get up and take a couple steps forward. I reach down and pick up a hand full a snow.
"Soul don't you da-!"
I throw the snow at Makas face and proceed to laugh my ass off.
"Gah Soul you're so annoying!" Before I knew it a huge plunk of snow hit my face, I need to pay more attention to my surroundings.
"You're on Maka!"
"Were not little kids anymore Soul!"
I swing about four more snow balls before she catches up. Damn she's fast she won't even give me time clear my face . I finally get to wipe the snow off my face and reach down to grab more when she pushes me down and drops a big pile of snow on most of my body and face.
I wriggle out of it and sit up.
"That doesn't even count Maka!"
"Oh really so there's rules now?"
She sits down next to me on the snow and brushes off the extra snow around my eyes.
I can't take this anymore. I grab her hand thats on my face and pull it down.
"You know Maka, you're really hella rad."
I go in before she can even respond and kiss her.
Is she kissing me back?
I let go and look into her eyes, lost in her hazel like sea.
"Really," She chuckles "Hella rad?"
I laugh at my own stupidity.
"Okay you're beautiful, you're smart, you're amazing."
She smiled "Better."
And she kisses my cheek.
