The Doctor was alone in the TARDIS as he had been Donna had left. Sure he was feeling a bit happier since the events on San Helios, but something was troubling him. Carmen's warning. She had earlier warned the Doctor "He will knock four times." He was still pondering what it meant when the Cloister Bell started ringing. "That never means anything good." he said.
As he checked the view screen he noticed that the console room was changing to a more retro style. Then he heard in a rather Scottish accent " What in blazes are you doing here." he than said to himself "Not twice in one incarnation." as he turned to his seventh self.
The 7th Doctor than asked "Who are you?" "Hello I'm the Doctor" said the 10th. "R-ridiculous you cant be!" said 7 "Yes I am the Doctor." said 10. "Then prove your self by racing me to the secondary console room." "Well I'm afraid we can't because you jettisoned the secondary console room." "So you are the Doctor because only he would know that." "Um, remember Ace was there when you jettisoned the secondary console room, by the way where is Ace?"
Meanwhile Ace was in the TARDIS's laboratory making a new batch of Nitro Nine, when she heard the Doctor call her name. When Ace finally got to the console room she saw a strange man in a brown suit in the console room. The 10th Doctor then said "Hello Ace it's very good to see you again." Ace then replied "How the hell do you know my name."
The 10th Doctor then replied "I'm the Doctor, just not the one you know, I'm his 10th form." Ace then asked the 7th Doctor what he meant by "10th form", he then told Ace how Timelords have the ability to change their bodies when they are near death. The 10th Doctor then said that they can also regenerate after they have died. (This being a mention to the 8th Doctor)
Just as they were finishing the discussion, the Cloister Bell started ringing, and the Doctor's checked the view screen to see what was wrong. "Apparently a lot of Time Vortex Energy has been found on Metaline 6." said 7 "And it's close to Metebellis 3." said 10 "That's because they're twin planets." said 7. "Well then we better go there to see what it is." said 10.
