A/N: This is just a little one-shot I thought of. This is how I wish Elphaba and Fiyero met.
It was a Saturday. In Room 203 of Crage Hall, Elphaba Thropp lay in bed, dreaming of bright blue eyes. The face always changed, the blue eyes stayed the same. At ten o' clock in the morning, Elphaba sat up in bed and stretched. She stood up and walked to her wardrobe to pull out a frock. She changed quickly and looked to her roommate who was also getting ready for the day.
"Hey Galinda, I'm gonna go get some coffee."
"Elphie…" Galinda said in a disapproving tone.
"I know. Coffee isn't good for me but I NEED MY COFFEE!" Elphaba said. With that she got her coat and went to the door. "See you later, Linny-con."
"DON'T CALL ME LINNY-CON!"
"The day I stop calling you Linny-con is the day you stop calling me Elphie." Elphaba said with a smile. She went out the door before Galinda could think of a rebuttal. She went to the local coffee shop that she always went to. As she went to open the door the door opened and knocked Elphaba off her feet. "You need to watch where you're going." Elphaba said as she dusted herself off.
"Well I'm sorry. Maybe you need a double-shot of happy in your coffee." The man said. She looked up to respond and her breath immediately caught. Those eyes were the same eyes that she had dreamt about the night before. She shook her head and her face went back to a scowl. The man still hadn't said anything but continued to stare at her.
"Yes I'm green get over it!" Elphaba said. The man blinked as if just now realizing this.
"I'm sorry to be so blunt…actually I'm not…but…you have very beautiful eyes." The man said. Elphaba was taken aback.
"Thank you." With that she went into the coffee shop, not even giving Fiyero her name.
The End.
