''what in the..'' she said as she brushed the hair away from her face and her eyes widen when she saw what had knocked her down a man wearing what seemed to be bat ears? her

expression calm until the mysterious man took a few steps towards her ''Stay away from me!'' she yelled trying to get up but the only progressed she made was falling

forward towards the man only to be caught by a strong pair of arms,'' she blushed forgetting that he was a complete stranger''Um Thank You'' she managed to quietly mutter

''Batman jeez wait up!'' at this Lacie jumped slightly being surprised at the sudden outburst of an unseen voice of a woman who sounded to far away to be seen as if on cue footsteps could be heard rustling in the bushes when a woman with wings finally came into view an angel?

''If I may be so bold who are you two exactly?'' asked not wanting to sound pushy the dark man turned towards lacie and opened his mouth to speak but was cut off

''Um bats what year is it exactly?'' asked the winged woman completly ignoring lacies question hphm! weirdos. thought lacie

''1620'' answered lacie ignoring the curious and somewhat confused look the woman gave her even though the question was clearly meant for the man named batman

''Batman'' lacie said saying the name for no reason just wanting to know how it would sound coming out of her own mouth

''what a strange name'' she thought aloud ''You people don't seem to be from around here'' she said curiusly

''thats because were no-'' The woman was quickly silenced by the glare the man was giving her

''Actually were ould be leaving now'' said ''batman'' as he grabbed the woman by one of her hands and pressed 2 fingers against his ear and if lacie heard right she heard him say ''J'onn transport us up to the watchtower theres been a malfunction in one of the machines''
