I decided to write this, because I had a dream about it. I have no idea why, but yeah….

So hope you enjoy it!

Deryn ran. As fast as her legs can carry her weightless body, she had to find Alek fast.

She didn't care that if all those barking Clankers shot her down, she'll manage to get up, if they shoot her in the stomach, she'll crawl! She knew that Alek was finished; she had no choice to get to him… and fast!

Her eyes widened, there was Alek, and she made it just in time! He wasn't…no. she can't think that, "Alek!" Deryn shouted

Alek smiled his white, gorgeous smile. Oh! How he is such a cutie, she thought. She groaned, No time for that! She had to get Alek out of there! "Alek come on, we need to get out of here!"

Alek nodded, and they both started to run.

Deryn felt in her gut that something was tailing Alek and her, but it wasn't human at all…No time to think, only to run. Alek kept her close, too close, but it didn't matter, as long she doesn't start to blush. Deryn wasn't paying attention at all, because of her stupid girlish thoughts because Alek was holding her hand; she fell into at deep, dark trench.

She screamed, she broke something. Which felt like hell, but no words came out, Alek jumped down, try to grab her, but something, something was holding him back, footsteps increase to the trench that the two teenagers were in. Alek looked up,

"Dylan, look out!" Alek yelled

Alek got in front of her, and took the bullet. Alek fell over

"ALEK!"

Deryn screamed. Finally woke up. She looked around, eyes wide, filled with terror. "Ju-Just a dream." She muttered. Beads of sweat pouring down her hot skin. "Alek isn't…." she began. Deryn hopped out of bed, threw on her outfit, ran down to Alek's stateroom.

Rapped on the door as loud as she can. Hoping that was not real, no blood, no bullets, no anything!

"Alek! Open the door!"

Nothing

"ALEK!"

A moan came from inside of the room, she opened the door.

"Please hope that dream wasn't real." She muttered

She was going in.

Hoped you liked it! I had a dream, that Deryn had a nightmare that Alek was going to die, and it gets…. Well. Worse.
