Just a One-shot I thought up randomly.
"Hey, Rae," said Jennifer walking up beside me, "did you hear that there are some new kids in town? They're all supposedly gorgeous but I haven't seen them so I can't be sure, though either way my heart is set on Danny," her voice turned dreamy as she mentioned Danny, her imaginary boyfriend. (A/N: My imaginary boyfriend is name Danny…felt like using his name.)
"If you like him so much why can't you just talk to him?" I asked. "And yes I did hear. I also head that they're rich, which means they're stuck up, which means I don't give a crap."
"Why can't you ever give people the benefit of the doubt?" she asked?
"I gave it to you," I replied with raised eyebrows.
She rolled her eyes. "Well I heard that they're also extremely pale and all the kids are adopted. Think about it. Why would a rich family move to the rainiest sunless place on earth?"
She had my head spinning now. She knew I had a major obsession with vampires. And ever since I read the Twilight Series been hoping one would move to my rainy town of Forks.
"OMG! Maybe they're vampires! All I need to see is the eyes and I'll know for sure!" I practically screamed.
"What if they wear contacts to fool humans?" She was being difficult.
"Feel their hands inconspicuously," I replied swiftly.
"And if they wear gloves?"
"Give myself a paper cut and see how they react."
"But what if they are and they can't resist your blood so they kill you?"
"Then I die happy knowing that vampires are real."
"Wow," was all she said.
I met the first new kid in Digitools (A/N: A computer class if you don't know). She was short, pixie-like, with black hair and brown eyes. Contacts, I thought to myself. She was wearing black gloves over her hands and I muttered a series of profanities under my breath. I decided to go with plan C then. I quickly grabbed a piece of paper out of my bag and slid it across my finger. The skin broke and after a second some blood dipped out. The suspected vampire raised her hand and asked to go to her restroom. The teacher excused her and I silently cheered. They have to be vampires! They just have to be!
The next class I had with one of them wasn't until sixth period English. He was tall and under his sweatshirt I could see the outline of some very strong arms. His hair was bronze and I couldn't help but overhear his name. "Edward, you may have a seat by Miss Raven," Mrs. Norton said and pointed to me. I cheered and danced and did flips in my head as the god of beauty walked over to me and sat at my desk.
"Hi," he said as he sat down by me, I nodded toward him biting the inside of my cheek to keep from screaming. "My name is Edward."
"Edward? Like Edward Cullen?" I asked. I couldn't help it.
"Yeah but my last name is Daniels and I'm from California, what's your name?" He asked as he smiled and lifted his hand to shake.
"Raven," I replied and shook his had. As our hands met I died. His hand was soft and warm and I could feel a light pulse. Not a vampire…
"Raven? Like Raven Madison?" He asked. I nearly died…again.
He knew about Vampire Kisses. Okay so maybe he isn't a vampire but he's officially my imaginary boyfriend…hopefully soon not so imaginary.
Short stupid but I only wrote it because I couldn't not. REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (please)
