This is just a poem I did for an English assignment, we were supposed to find a picture and write a poem about it. I found one of Snape looking into the mirror of Erised and seeing lily. So anyway here's the poem I made. hope you enjoy.

Title: The mirror of my past
It's been almost 17 years since we last spoke
I try my hardest to forget you but it's a lost hope
I can't fall asleep when ever I do I think of you
I mindlessly roam the school, trying to forget you
But it's far too hard; you're as hard to forget as the sun or a breath of air. It seems no matter where I go your memory is always there.
As I walk around in circles I see a door I've never seen before
It opens to reveal a giant mirror, I step in cautiously.
I stand in front looking at myself apprehensively.
Suddenly your there with me at your side.
I look around but your no where in sight.
Not believing what I'm seeing I walk closer
I touch my hands to the glass and shudder as I feel the cold hard surface. The pain is too much, I can no longer bare it, I slump against the glass wishing it was you I was holding on to.
My emotions are so crazy I feel so unsteady.
Then it all changes, quick I grow suspicious
For how can this mirror know of what my heart truly wishes?
I forgot how beautiful you truly are and seeing you again makes my cold dark heart soar. I promise to leave and never come back; the pain is too much when you smile like that.
I can't move my feet not even a muscle.
I stare and stare at your smiling face, I cry my eyes out and wipe the tears away in haste.
Ill come back to see your smile
Ill come back if only for a while
Ill come back even though it hurts to
Ill come back just so I can see you
Ill come back forever and ever.
Ill come back because you were my one true friend.
In the end I never got to tell you my true feelings.
I will love you always.
Even after all this time, I will love you always.
