In a world where the wizarding wars were…less than subtle, the Muggles are now well aware of the existence of wizards. But rather than persecute and destroy them, they treat them as equals, if not superiors. Following is one such example of muggle wizard worship.
"Ladies and gentlemen, it's me, Ron Popeil with a new product that can even be used at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!"
(Cheers from audience as Ron holds up a can)
"This, people, is my patented 'Ronco Switch & Flickr Pest Spray'!"
(More cheers, mixed with murmurs of confusion)
"I'll bet you're all wondering what it does! Well, I'm gonna tell you. This handy little can can take care of most any pest: rats, mosquitoes, Slytherins…"
(Chuckles from crowd)
"…Anything! All you have to do is shake the can with a little flourish, aim at the pest you want to get rid of and spray it. It's as easy as 'switch & flickr'!"
(Someone from crowd calls out)
"OY! You're saying it wrong!"
"E-excuse me? What are you talking about? This is my Switch & Flickr Pest Spray, so it's as easy as--" started Ron.
"Yea, but what your trying to say is 'Swish and flick,' in reference to the levitation spell."
"You…you're a wizard, aren't you? My good…what's your name, sir?" asked Ron.
"Yea, I'm a wizard. The name's Weasley." said the man.
"Splendid! And what spell is it that I'm mispronouncing? Please, correct me and my multi-billion dollar company! I insist! In fact, I'm practically ordering you to tell me what it is I mispronounced." challenged Ron.
"Alright, then. Wingardium Leviosa!" called Weasley.
(Crowd cheers and applauds as Ron Popeil begins to hover around the stage)
"Well, there you have it ladies and gentlemen, 'Swish & Flick Pest Spray' takes care of any pest!" said Ron, as he swirled about in the air.
"But not as well as this!" yelled someone in the audience.
(Crowd, Weasley and Popeil look around in surprise)
"Malfoy? What are you doing here?" said Weasley.
"I'm sick of these stupid muggles treating magic like it's some gimmick. Today, wizards are getting their lives back! Avada Kedavra!" cried Malfoy.
"NO!" screamed Weasley, pulling out his wand.
(Crowd gasps, screams and scatters as Popeil falls down dead)
Obviously, the witches and wizards do not like to be worshipped or glorified by muggles. Mr. Popeil has already been lost "for the cause". What happens next depends entirely on you. To be continued…
