"Welcome to my RV." Beck said as he opened the door for Cat.
Cat looked around. "It's so big!" She laughed.
Beck smiled. "Yep, would you like some iced tea?" He opened a mini fridge and pulled out a pitcher.
"Sure." Cat did a backwards jump on Beck's bed and lay there, taking in his sweet aroma.
Beck sat on the bed with two glasses. "Here you are…" He said, giving Cat her iced tea.
"Thanks." She drank her iced tea and put it on a coaster on Beck's night stand. "Do you cook?" She asked him while lying on his bed.
"I'm making you dinner tonight, aren't I?" Beck tickled Cat's tummy while she laughed hysterically.
Later on, Beck and Cat were lying on his bed together, watching some stupid show on Beck's little TV. Cat wasn't really paying attention. She was just happy to be with him.
"This is a bad show…" Beck muttered.
"Change it." Cat suggested.
"Nah." Beck turned off the television. "I'm hungry, aren't you?"
Cat shrugged. "What are you going to make?" Beck went over to his cupboard and pulled out two packets of Top Ramen to show her.
Cat laughed. "I thought you said you can cook."
"I said I would make you dinner." He chuckled. "And to be honest, this stuff is actually pretty good."
"Yay." Cat giggled. Beck loved to make her smile or if he was lucky, laugh. Her laugh seemed to make the whole room shine. It reminded him that despite all the cruelty in the world, there was love and happiness. That was something she taught him.
"Voilà!" Beck said in a French accent when he finished the ramen. "It is finished!" "Yummy!" Cat sang as she got chopsticks out of the silverware drawer. They ate on his small kitchen table, laughing at jokes and savoring every moment. After it got late, Cat and Beck laid on his bed together in the dark. "Beck..." Cat started."Yes?" "Did you…did you really love Jade?" It was a question that had bugged her since they began dating. "I mean…don't get me wrong, I like Jade, she's my best friend, but did you really love her?" Beck sighed. "I thought I did…" He turned to look at Cat. "When I realized I didn't…I couldn't just break her heart. I don't like to hurt people. But now…she seems more acceptable of us. That breakup was a long time ago; I know she'll find somebody." Cat smiled. "She always does." Cat looked at her phone and groaned. "Aw…I gotta head back home." She sat up. "Why?" Beck asked. "It's my mom…she wants me home." She explained. "It's cool, I drive you there." Beck got up and went to the driver's seat. When they got there, Beck walked her up to her house. "Thanks for dinner." Cat said. "No problem, come over again sometime." "Yes!" Cat jumped up in Beck's arms and kissed him. "I will."
