Here are two drabbles that I did...they were for someone...but at the moment I'm too lazy to look that person up...It's the first time I've been on a computer in a while and boy am I glad to be back. I apologize for any grammar/spelling mistakes as it is not beta'd. Thanks for reading!

Life sucked for a teenaged super hero's best friend and when you're powerless and used for bait more often than not; it sucked really bad. When you're sleeping over at your friend's house...and being kidnapped...that...really wasn't that bad. 'Cause in the end...your super hero saves you. Always. Your super hero checks to make sure you're okay. Always. Your super hero hugs you. Always. For reassurance that you're alright. Always.

Life sucked for a teenaged super hero's best friend. 'Cause when he saves you its in brotherly affection. Always.

It was a bright sunny day in the life of Gear. Nothing bad had happened; recently; and he now had a super-cool super-brain that could process so much more than his non-enhanced one could...like watching pron and making a gadget at the same time...that was simply awesome. He could finally do all the things he could ever want to do at the same time; fantasize about best-friends, know exactly how long to put the kettle on top of the stove before the water gets to hot, and know what temperature the water needed to be at in the first place.

Unfortunately his newly-enhanced brain didn't help with his 'telling his crush' problems. That was always when things seemed to get hard. He had tried various things such as: letter in the locker. That ended up in the wrong locker. He ended up with a new stalker by the name of...well that wasn't important. The point was he messed that one up. He had also tried 'I love you' cup-cakes. Not cool. Lame. Not to mention that cooking skills didn't actually come with the super-brain. He bought his best friend a limited edition comic...only to have it ruined by the batter of the 'I love you' cupcakes.

The fourth, and so far last attempt consisted of out-right telling him. He didn't get very far, barely even passing the 'Virgil, I need to tell you...' before hotspot had taken it upon himself to beat him up for the day. In retrospect it wasn't a very good idea to be telling him outside of the school either.

Fortunately, the problem was quickly to be solved. Not that Gear knew this of course, but Virgil did. Static did.

By the next day, everyone knew to keep their hands off of the blond. He was claimed.
