I Love You

It was a nice sunny day in Station Square; a busy town with people all around at day and calm and peaceful at night. It was a special day for some people….or should I say everyone; it was Valentine's Day! People were everywhere buying gifts for their loved ones, all excited.

Amy Rose was just walking happily out of the grocery store with a few bags in her hands. She was walking home to her apartment, which was located right in the center of Station Square in a four-story building.

As she was walking home, she heard a soft voice in her ear. It said:

"I love you."

Amy turned around and didn't see anyone behind her, except for the people buying gifts from the vendors outside.

"…Okay…that was weird" Amy said to herself, all freaked out.

Amy continued walking until it happened again.

"What in the world is going on? Man, I might be losing it" Amy said, getting irritated.

"I love you."

This time Amy was ready. She turned around and swung the bags at the guy. Unfortunately, she missed the guy because he dodged it. Then, she noticed it was someone she knew.

"Sonic-"

She was interrupted by Sonic the Hedgehog kissing her lips. It was a sweet, gentle kiss that she quickly gave in; she slowly dropped the bags, put her arms around his shoulders, and started kissing back. Then, a while later:

"I love you, Ames," Sonic began. "I'm sorry I've ignored you all this years, and I'm sorry it took me so long to realize that I've been falling in love with you this whole time. Would you forgive me?"

Sonic pulled out a beautiful bouquet of different–colored roses.

"Oh, Sonic, of course I forgive you" Amy said, tears pouring down her eyes and taking the bouquet.*Sniff* "By the way, I love you, too."

Sonic pulled her close and embraced her.

"Thanks, Ames."

Amy just gave him a quick, sweet kiss on the lips as a "You're welcome".

"By the way, Happy Valentine's Day, Ames."
