Rules are things that cripple an idea, things that don't allow it to grow and flourish, to become amazing and pure. Sure, a story with rules can be amazing when it's well written but the piece is… tainted in a way, tainted by something that's not in control of the pen's wielder, the author.
So maybe you'll take this shadow-challenge… or you can walk away, exactly the same, but at the same time feeling like you lost something. Something important… something close… something you didn't even notice or appreciate until it was just gone. Disappearing into the steadily declining… place. It doesn't have a name, nor does it need one.
