Something just like This: Chainsmokers Colplay.
*Authors notes* So to start off with I got a bit stuck because I could not do a Felix Calhoun theme. This is because the lyrics say about how he does not think of himself as a hero... whereas Felix does... So then I naturally thought. Who should I pair with Vanellope? Looked at the 3 boy racers in Candy crush and decided hey! Let's try something different! So I have paired her with Swizzy Malarkey (The Swizz) who is one of the less seen racers. Fitting the role of the guy who does not think he is good enough for Vanellope, because he is not very popular unlike her. Enjoy! Next time I am hoping to do a Calhoun Felix (Heroes cuties!) so don't worry.
Okay enough from me, byee!
*End of Authors notes*
Vanellope could feel the wind on her face as she raced across the vast landscape of Candycrush, letting her hair loose for once. Today had been toughy, Ralph was not in the mood for talking and Felix and Calhoun are always to busy these days. She sighed, continueing to hum a tune to herself.
Suddenly she heard distant crying, it was faint at first but then it got louder and louder as she carried on southwards. This was particularly peculiar considering the fact that Candycrush was normally a happy and joyful place to be. Vanellope needed to get to the bottom of this! She quickly swerved to the right, making a sudden stop amongst the candy trees.
She got out of the kart, slowly making her way towards the clearing ahead. The crying was extremely loud now, so she knew this was the right spot. Vanellope brushed away some sugary bracken , revealing a red-faced Swizzle whimpering beside a chocolate pond. For once Vanellope felt a pang sympathy for the racer, what could have made him this upset?
"Hey there Swizzle! You doing okay there pal?" She asked, walking slowly towards him and sitting down. She saw his face grow even more red, only this time from embarrassment.
"I-Im sorry President! I did not mean to disturb you!" He desperately tried to wipe away the tears staining his cheeks, making a forced smile. Vanellope got up and sat closer to him, putting a arm on his shoulder.
"Hey it's okay Swizzle! Did not mean to spook ya!" She replied, trying to calm him down with a pat on the back. In all the years the racers had bullied her, she vowed to never show them mercy. But now... now was different. She watched as Swizzle took some deep breaths and smiled at her gratefully.
"Thank you! You must think me silly to be crying like this." He exclaimed, standing up with Vanellope joining him.
"No, no! Heck, I've seen Ralph cry and that is quite the sight to behold! ... trust me." She let out a loud laugh, snorting a bit at the memory of them going on a roller coaster. Ralph could be so silly sometimes, but I guess that's partly why she thought he was such a good friend.
Swizzle also let out a laugh, grinning madly "Remember when you turned back into a Princess! I never thought I would see Taffyta cry so hard!" He was quite fond of that memory, although he did not like to admit it.
Vanellope smiled as she remembered. "Hey! Earlier... you called me president! Nobody ever remembers! Thanks Swizzle, ya kind stink-face!" She laughed watched Swizzle looking confused but then he also started to smile.
"Hey atleast I don't have to worry about being called Princess Pie-breath!" He chuckled, making a face at her.
"Hey! That is it! Now why in da heck were you crying in the first place?" She asked, realising she was straying from the reason she came here.
"Oh... just a sore-loser, y'know? I am never a great hero like you and Ralph! Stupid to cry about, huh?" He kicked the sprinkles on the floor, avoiding her face.
"I think you don't have to be a hero to be great! I think you are a perfect dork just the way you are!" She hoped he felt better, it upset her to see him sad. Wait- was she getting attached?! No way hosay! No 'honeyglows' on her watch. She studied his face as he seemed to be in a trance. "Hey dork, wake up!"
"Oh yeah, sorry Vanellope. It's just nobody has said anything so kind before! Taffyta just calls me her 'minion' which is stupid." He replied, frowning at the memory.
"Look if it makes you feel better. If I am a princess... then you can be my Prince. Privately! Although don't go all goo-goo eyed on me or I will send Sour Bill to lock you in the fungeon!" She menacingly hissed at him.
"Okay, okay! Thank you. I have wanted something just like this! A person I can hang out with! I don't want to act like a superhero to be popular anymore." He sighed with relief, atleast he could trust someone and have a nice friendship, or possibly something more.
"Okay, glad I helped. See ya around doofus!" She then ran off, disappearing through the tall Candy trees.
"Y'know Vanellope. I might just have a Candy-'crush' on you." He said quietly, watching her go.
Wait, wait! No goo goo eyes. He promised!!
