My heart sunk when I realized you were gone,
I never realized how much I actually cared,
Until that moment when I realized that you were not there.
Gravity hit fast the moment your spark went out,
It felt as if my body was full of lead,

Never imagined I would see the day,
That you'd be gone from my life for good,
Worked so hard to get you back into my life,

Told myself for years I am better off without you,
Now that you are gone I realized how much I needed you.
Gravity always has a way of pulling me towards you,
Every time I try to pull away it pulls me back to you.
